classes (excused or unexcused) or are consistently
tardy, you will fail this course even if your work is otherwise satisfactory.
This policy is based on the fact that missing class means missing instruction,
discussion, and activities--most of which are not found in textbooks and cannot
be adequately reproduced from borrowed notes. |
| If
your absence is excusable,
you are responsible to provide documentation
(on the absence form--see bottom of this page) showing why it should be
excused. Give this completed Absence Form to the teacher upon return. |
| When you return
to class after an absence, you must be prepared for
that day's activities since those activities are outlined in the
class schedule. This includes any quizzes that may or may not be announced. |
