Mr.Robert Bolton's Home Page

Mr. Bolton has been a teacher at Collegedale Academy for 24 years. He has survived through 4 principals and a variety of faculty and staff. Growing up, his mother was a school teacher and his father was a builder; so naturally he would become a teacher of building. Mr. Bolton teaches three classes at Collegedale Academy;
Beggining Woods, which teaches students standard framing techniques. The class builds sheds through the year and sells them for a small profit for the school.
Advanced woods is a junior/senior class in which students learn more advanced techniques in building things such as cabinets. Each student builds their own dresser, and upon completion students are allowed to take them home. There is a small fee involved for the cost of wood.
Intoduction to Careers is a freshman class in which students learn the value of education in the workforce, and how to perform basic home skills.
Before becoming the "handyman" of C.A. Mr. Bolton taught band for 34 years. He has been teaching for forty years, having graduated from Southern College in 1967.
